Lucius "L.D." Conn

Lucius “L.D.” Dudley Conn, Jr., age 83 of Pass Christian, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, April 5, 2025.

He was born in Virginia on December 4, 1941 and moved to the Coast during his childhood years. He was married to Christine Conn in 1961 and raised two daughters, Renee and Connie. Together they owned and operated Conn Construction Mechanical for 21 years until Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

L.D. loved spending time on the water at his home in Pass Christian. He enjoyed deep sea scuba diving and fishing. Nothing brought him more joy than taking family trips on land or sea. He was a devoted believer of the Bible and family man and trusted in God with all his heart. L.D. was a true testament to strength and faith. He was the family rock and Superman.

Mr. Conn was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 63 years, Christine Conn; and his sister, Winona Conn.

He is survived by his two daughters, Renee (Scott) Stiger of Pass Chrisitan and Connie (Mike) Johnson of Long Beach; four grandchildren, Blaine (Emileigh) Stiger, Colby (Ashley) Stiger, Bryce (Amber) Johnson, and Dylan Johnson; eight great grandchildren, Anabelle Jordan, Marleigh Ellis, Nola Ellis, Sailor Ellis, Cruz Stiger, Lilly Johnson, Ethan Stiger and Dawson Johnson.

Life will be forever changed for us but we have peace knowing that he is whole again and is reunited with the love of his life.
