Louise Weems Gates Ladner, age 84, of Gulfport, passed away on October 5, 2016.
She was preceded by her parents, Herbert Lewis Weems, Sr. and Julia Weems, her sister, Barbara Busshart, her son, Darrell Gates, and her husband, J.W. Ladner.
Survivors include her children, Stephen Michael (Jacqui) Gates, Diane Rogers, Kevin (Sylvia) Ladner, and Jayson (Debbie) Ladner, a brother, Herbert Weems, Jr., 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Ladner was an avid reader and she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of Boyington Nursing Center for their care and concern they gave to Mrs. Ladner.
Visitation will be on Monday, October 10, 2016, from 9 - 11 am at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUENERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport. The funeral service will be at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Finley Cemetery.
