Louise DeLoach Bond, 92, of Gulfport, Mississippi, passed away on December 9, 2023. She was born on June 5, 1931, in Durant, Mississippi. Louise was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and was one of five sisters. She was married to late Leighton Bond and was a resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast for over 60 years. Louise was the mother of two sons, and she leaves behind two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She pursued an Associate Degree and had a career in civil service at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi. Louise enjoyed reading and singing in the church choir, where she dedicated multiple years of service.
Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Leighton Bond, her parents, George DeLoach and Mary Boutwell, and her sisters, Miriam DeLoach, Kay Bell, Mary Lee and Judy Marshall.
She is survived by her sons, Ron Bond and Gregg Bond, as well as her grandchildren, Matt Bond and Christie Bond Swan. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Audrey Swan, Caleb Swan, and Harrison Bond.
Pallbearers will be Gregg Bond, Ron Bond, Matt Swan, and Matt Bond.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 from 12:30 - 1:30 pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Rd. Gulfport, MS. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 PM, at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Carl Leggat Rd. Gulfport.
