Louis J. "L.J." Pritchard

Louis J. ""L.J."" Pritchard, age 80 and a resident of Gulfport, left this earth on Thursday, August 28, 2014, to be with his Lord and Savior.
Mr. Pritchard was of the Baptist and attended Campground Baptist Church in Gulfport. He was a graduate of Gulfport High School, served in the United States Marine Corps, and retired from the United States Postal Service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alva S. Sr. and Jessie Mae Pritchard.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 59 years, Peggy Levens Pritchard; his son, Mitchell Pritchard; his daughters, Catherine (Danny) Kenney and Linda (Rick) Stinnett; his brothers, Alva (Helen) Pritchard, Jr. and Kenneth (Brenda) Pritchard; his sisters, Thelma (Teddy) Gartman and Barbara White; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
L.J. loved his garden, golfing, fishing, cooking, and all the time spent with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A special thank you to his granddaughter, Jennifer, for all the special love and care she gave her Paw-Paw.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2014, at 9:00 a.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery.
