Louis Aulton Easterling

d. January 22, 2014

Louis Aulton Easterling, age 48, passed away on January 22, 2014 at the Veteran's Hospital in Las Vegas, NV.
He succumbed to a long illness associated with his combat service in the Persian Gulf War and his exposure later to the chemical component agent orange, which was stored on an Army post to which he was assigned after the war. Louis graduated from Biloxi High School and received his associates degree in computer drafting after his discharge from the Army. He worked in his family construction business for some time prior to his move to Las Vegas.
Louis is mourned deeply by his loving parents, Frances and Lloyd Easterling, his sisters, Lloyd (Louis) White, Marci Barnhard, many nieces and nephews and other relatives. He is survived by his wife Eva and step-children, Darla, Jessie, and Ashley, his daughter, Courtney (Ryan), and a son, Louis Aulton (Ashley) who flew from Minnesota to be with their father, and his 5 grandchildren, Connor, Kilee, Cage, Cadence, and Logan.
Louis had a living will that expressed his wishes to be cremated and his ashes to be returned to the MS Gulf Coast which he loved dearly. A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 in Las Vegas where family, friends, and employees from his longtime employer, Martin Peltyn Engineers, attended. It is asked that any tribute to his memory be made to the ""Wounded Warrior Project"", P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
The RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Gulfport, assisted the family with arrangements and an online guestbook may be signed at www.riemannfamily.com
