Lorena Harris

Lorena Harris, age 72, died Tuesday, December 17, 2013.
Mrs. Harris was a life-long resident of Long Beach and worked for 29 years at the Holiday Inn on the beach. She loved serving the public and shopping. She adored her dogs, grandkids and great-grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Herman Harris and Walter Harris; father, Leonard Mosley; mother, Annie Smith; brother, David Creel; grandson, James Glass; and other siblings.
Survivors include her 3 children, Jerry Harris, Stephen Harris and Cindy Taylor (Troy Glass); her red headed step-child, Denise Johnson; sister, Doris Legg (Terry); 7 grandchildren, Walter Taylor (Nikki), Lorena Christy Young (Bruce), Kaitlin Taylor, Christie Howard, Mike Glass, Kim Fillingame (Andre) and Josh Johnson; 6 great-grandchildren and other loving family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, December 19 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach. The service will be at 2:30 p.m., Friday in the chapel with burial to follow at Long Beach City Cemetery. Tributes may be offered at www.riemannfamily.com
