Lois H. Reeves

Lois H. Reeves was born in New Hebron, MS, on September 5, 1928, and passed away on October 1, 2014. She has been a resident of Long Beach, MS, since 1952.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. ""Joe"" Reeves; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.J. Herrington; her brothers, Mr. Howard Herrington, Jr., Mr. David Herrington; her sister, Mrs. Anne Panse; and her great-granddaughter, Miss Kayla Maniccia.
She is survived by her children, Dr. David Reeves (Carol), Mrs. Carrolyn Hamilton (Jim), Ms. Linda Reeves, Mrs. Lisa Guice (Barry); her brother, Mr. Paul Herrington (Dorothy); her sisters-in-law, Mrs. Pal Reeves, Mrs. Ann Herrington; her grandchildren, Dr. Jimmy Hamilton (Miranda), Mr. Joey Hamilton, Mrs. Kristin Leonard (Michael), Dr. Jeffrey Reeves (Phyllis), Mr. Patrick Reeves, Miss Marlo Guice, Mr. Christopher Guice, Miss Blair Guice; her step-grandchildren, Mr. Jason Streetman, Ms. Shelley Streetman; her 9 great-grandchildren, Tyler Streetman, Ryan Maniccia, Ally Hamilton, Anna Kate Hamilton, Mason Hamilton, Elijah Guice Foley, Madison Streetman, Owen Streetman, Mallory Streetman; and her nieces and nephews.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Long Beach, MS. She had been an active member of the PTA, and a staunch supporter of the Long Beach schools, all the Bearcat athletic teams and fine arts programs.
She was a wonderful mother and cook who always supported her family in all their endeavors.
There will be a visitation at the First United Methodist Church, Long Beach from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 3, 2014. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2014, 10:00 a.m. at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, MS. Burial will follow in Long Beach City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Joe Reeves Education Fund at the First United Methodist Church, Long Beach, MS. Memories may be shared at www.riemannfamily.com.
