Lois McCullough

Mrs. Mary ""Lois"" McCullough, age 91, of Columbus, MS, passed away on January 5, 2015 in Long Beach, MS.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Doyle Blaylock McCullough; and one son, Doyle Banks McCullough.
Her survivors include two grandchildren, Amie M. Ladner (Ryan), Doyle McCullough (Crystal); three great-grandchildren, Reagan Ladner, Colton Ladner, and Elijah McCullough; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lois was owner and operator of Lois' Beauty Shop in Greenville, MS for 20 years. After selling her business, she moved back to Columbus and worked as a beauty operator at Trinity Nursing Home for 20 years. She loved her work and developed close, lasting friendships with her customers and the people she worked with. When not at work, she enjoyed cooking for her husband and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lois was also affiliated with the Order of the Eastern Star and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church in Columbus.
A graveside service will be held at Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS, on Friday, January 8, 2016, at 1 PM. Friends and family are invited to attend.
