Lois Stockstill "Marie" Gonzales

Lois ""Marie"" Stockstill Gonzales, age 69, went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday, July 27, 2013.
She was a life-long resident of the coast and was for many years a caregiver at Miramar and Driftwood Nursing Homes.
She was preceded in death by her father, E.E. Sample; mother, Lois Morgan; brothers, Earl Samples, Merle Sample and William ""Bugs"" Sample; her 1st husband and father of her children, Donald W. Stockstill; husband and the love of her life, Daniel Gonzales; and her great-grandson, Taylor Dardar.
Survivors include her 4 daughters, Dona (Doug) White, Doris Ann (Russ) Patton, Debby (John) Bodino and Dana L. Stockstill; 8 grandchildren, Cassie (Sonny) Dardar, A.J. (Ashley) Andres, Shephard H. Patton III, Dustin W. (Lindsey) Stout, Ashton Leigh Anne Clarke, Alise Maria (Will) Andres, Tyler M. Bradley and Dresdan N. Stockstill; 6 great-grandchildren, Sean and Mia, Allie and Harlen, Wyatt, Maddox; sisters, Doris Tolar and Joan Sample; brother, James (Linda) Sample; and many other loving nieces, nephews and family members.
Visitation will be from 12 Noon until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Campground Baptist Church, 20577 Highway 53, Gulfport. The Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Finley Cemetery. Arrangements by RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Gulfport. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Lakeview Nursing Center for their care and compassion.
Lois was a special lady who endeared herself in the heart of anyone she met. She was an example of unconditional love, patience, strength and kindness. Heaven has gained an angel.
