Lloyd J. Johnson, age 87, of Gulfport, passed away peacefully on October 26, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie Johnson and Elma Alonzo Johnson.
Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Joyce ""Trix"" Johnson, a daughter, Sherryl (Robert) Webster, a brother, James (Sybil) Johnson, 2 grandchildren, Melissa Webster, and John Webster, 2 nieces, and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Johnson was a devout member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church where he received the sacraments faithfully alongside his wife. He loved sailing, traveling in his motor home, and spending time with his family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am Thursday, October 29, 2015, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 720 East Beach Blvd., Long Beach. Visitation will be from 10 - 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.
