Lloyd Blandford, 73, of Ocean Springs, died September 2, 2014 at his residence.
Mr. Blandford was a native of Fogo, Newfoundland in Canada and had been a resident of Ocean Springs since 1988. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, retiring after 28 years as a Senior Master Sergeant. He then worked and retired after 12 years at the U.S. Post Office in Ocean Springs, where he was known as Papa.
Mr. Blandford was preceded in death by his wife, Daphne M. Blandford. He is survived by his three sons, Dawson and wife Alisa, Jeffrey, and Robert; and two grandchildren, Andrew and JJ.
He was a devoted husband, loving father, and passionate grandfather. He was an avid dart player and a joyous fisherman.
RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Biloxi, served the family. There will be no local services held.
