Linda Ray, age 77, of Gulfport, passed away on September 4, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Agnes Crysell; her infant son, Marvin Ray Jordan; her infant daughter, Cynthia Ann Elrod; and her infant great grandson, Aaron Jacob Ellzey.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Baxter Ray, of Gulfport; her children, Tina (Danny) Ellzey, Cheryl Henry, Stephanie (Dan) Guinta, and Karen (Jeff) Norrod; her grandchildren, Josh, Linda Lotee, Mandy, Chari, Elizabeth, Matthew, Zachary, and Kimberly; and her great grandchildren, Caitlin, Serena, Jordan, Andrew, Ryan, Shyana, Brodie, Lily, and Liam.
She was a godly woman who loved her family, extended family, and friends. She worked in the health care industry for many years and enjoyed helping and serving others. Renowned for her cooking and baking skills, she loved hosting family and friends, and welcomed strangers to her table.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd at Washington Ave, West Jackson County with a visitation for family and friends from 11:00 AM until the service. Pastors Mike Barbera and Mike Cassagne will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Bellande Cemetery, Ocean Springs.
