Linda C. Rossi Lovato, age 44, died Tuesday April 17, 2018 at 9:16 pm at Memorial Hospital peacefully surrounded by the ones she loved most.
She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on April 23, 1973, daughter of Marilyn Rossi and the late Mike "Spike" Rossi.
She was an avid reader who had a strange talent of finishing 600 paged books in one day. Linda loved spending her days in the sun, whether she was gardening, tanning or just driving down the beach with her windows down. Her greatest passions were being a mom, grandmother, daughter, sister, and wife. She was a passionate singer and dancer, only in the car with her children and grandchildren. People knew when she cooked up her famous meatballs to grab a to go bowl because she made enough to feed a village. Although she loved outdoor activities, there is nothing Linda enjoyed more than putting on some Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, and Anne Murray to slow dance with her kids and husband in the middle of the living room.
Her blunt humor, open heart to all people, and devotion to helping others is a big piece of the beauty of her heart and soul. Her infectious personality will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to have known her.
Linda is survived by her husband, Chris Lovato; her 3 children, Kasey Lovato (25), Karlie Lovato (19), and Christopher "Boy" Lovato (14); her 4 "G babies", Jayden (6), Taylor(6), Londyn (4), DJ (2); her mother, Marilyn Rossi; and her 3 brothers, Mike Rossi, Tony Rossi and Stephen Rossi.
In regards to a service, Linda requested many times beforehand she did not want one. The family appreciates everyone's love and support during this time. Linda's birthday is April 23rd, and we ask that you celebrate her birthday by spending time with the ones you love. Linda is a registered organ donor and she will be giving the gift of sight to someone in need.
