Lillian ""Lil"" Klein Burnaman, 87, of Gulfport, passed away on June 11, 2014 in Gulfport.
Lil was a lifetime resident of Gulfport and an active member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. She taught Sunday school and was a long time member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League. For many years she planned the menu and decorations for the Fall Essenfest luncheon.
She graduated from Gulfport High School in the class of 1944. She worked in her husband's CPA firm.
Lil was preceded in death by her husband Robert Kent Burnaman, Sr. and her parents Gulfport Police Chief Ernest E. Klein and Lillie Chadwick Klein. She is survived by her son Robert K. Burnaman, Jr. of Gulfport and her daughter Beverly (Mrs. Michael) Heimstead of Charlotte, N.C. and three grandchildren Christen Heimstead, Stephanie Heimstead and Robert K. Burnaman, III, and her two sisters Doris Klein (Roger) Ishee and Helen Klein (late husband Richard) Austin of Montrose, CO.
Lil was a wonderful and loving daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt.
