Mr. Levoy Ladner, age 78, passed away Thursday, January 7, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his parents, R.B. Ladner and Thelma Thurmon Ladner; his brothers, Floyd, Charles and Shirley Ladner; his sister, Elaine Ladner; and his grandson, Dustin Clemmons.
Mr. Ladner is survived by his wife of 59 years, Bertie Brewer Ladner; his daughters, Darlene (Terry) Plummer and Dianne Clemmons; his brothers, Junior and Larry Ladner; his step sisters, Sarah Scarborough, Faye Muirhead, and Nancy Beam; his grandchildren, Jessica (Tony) Cabera, Robbie (Heather) Clemmons, and Josh (Carina) Plummer; his great grandchildren, David, Aron and Lexi Cabera, and Ellie Plummer; and nieces and nephews.
He served in the United States Navy and later retired from Indal. Mr. Ladner was also a member of Discovery Church in Gulfport.
A visitation will be held from 11 AM - 1 PM on Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Discovery Church, 2601 17th Ave, Gulfport, MS 39501. Funeral services will begin at 1 PM at the church and burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Gulfport, served the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Canon Hospice.
