Levi Austin
Edwards
Jan 27, 2011 — Aug 23, 2026
Levi Austin Edwards, 15, passed away on August 23, 2026. Born on January 11, 2011, Levi was born in Arlington, TX but spent most of his childhood in Detroit, Michigan, and was currently residing in Gulfport. Levi was truly one of the happiest, most loving young men you could ever meet, possessing a big heart and a radiant smile. He was a proud member of the Marine Corps JROTC, known for always smiling, laughing, and joking. He loved learning new things and especially loved sharing surprise trivia quizzes with people. He enjoyed eating good food, playing games, playing outside, and fixing things. While he was a little mischief-maker in his earlier grades, he was always well-intentioned. Making people laugh was his favorite hobby, and he took great joy in making others happy and helping anyone he could in any way possible. Levi could make friends with just about anyone and always tried his best to include everyone. He was exceptionally funny beyond belief; he was incredibly gifted with accents and aspired to become a voice actor, aiming to follow in the footsteps of Robin Williams. One of his family's most cherished memories is a peaceful day spent on the trampoline, chilling with friends, where Levi just sat, smiled, and completely enjoyed life. He brought a gold standard of love to this world that will be deeply missed.Levi was preceded in death by his step-father, T.J. Jones; his grandfathers, Thomas Frisbee and David Wallace; his great-grandmother, Ardis Schultz; and his great-grandfather, Leo Schultz. His memory will be forever cherished by his mother, Tanya Dianne Wallace; his father, Danny Edwards; his brothers, Alex Lesage, Seth Wallace, Mason Burrage, Augustus Edwards, and Traven Jones; his aunts and uncles, Angela Wallace, Chris Guimonds, Mark Guimonds, Jeanie, Trisha, and Jamie Edwards; and his grandparents, Dianne Frisbee, and Glenda and Dennis Edwards. In recognition of his dedication, the Marine Corps JROTC will honor Levi with a flag drape ceremony and color guard, and present his family with a shadow box containing his flag and medals. This world truly lost a bright shining angel.
