Lester Jerome Green, Jr., also known as Les and Thin Man, age 66, passed away on January 31, 2018 in Ocean Springs, MS.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Serpas Green and his parents, Lester Green, Sr. and Annie Mae Balaski.
He is survived by his two sons Les Green (Leigh) of League City, TX, Michael Green of Ocean Springs, MS; four grandchildren, Brendan Green, Arielle Green, Adalyn Green, Ollie Green; and one brother Bennie Green (Lynette) of Lakeshore, MS.
Les started his career early in the shipbuilding industry where he worked as a ship fitter. He then attended MGCCC in the early 80's where he earned a degree in architectural drafting. He later worked for Dupont DeLisle Chemical Plant and, most recently, at Huntington Ingalls Industries.
He enjoyed fishing, woodworking and gardening in his spare time.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 12 PM - 2 PM with funeral services following at 2 PM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd., West Jackson County. Interment will be at Gulf Coast Memorial Cemetery in Bay Saint Louis.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to the American Cancer Society.
