Leslie Blair Lambert, age 71, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, March 3, 2017 surrounded by her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Kirk Moyer Sr. and Evelyn Sinclair Moyer.
She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 48 years, Alexander Adam Lambert Jr; their five children, Alexander Adam Lambert III (Elena), Hutson Lee Lambert Sr. (Anita), Penelope Blair Davidson (Richard), Mary Sinclair Lambert, and Robert Kirk Lambert; her six grandchildren, Carter James Davidson, Alston Alexander Davidson, Claire Penelope Davidson, Alexis Lee Lambert, Alexander Adam Lambert IV, and Hutson Lee Lambert Jr.; and her two siblings, Marietta Moyer Stirratt and Robert Kirk Moyer Jr.
Blair was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. She, along with her husband and children, moved to Pass Christian in 1987 where she has resided for the past 30 years. Blair put her family before all else. She was a dedicated and selfless wife, mother, and grandmother. She attended Louisiana State University and was active with her sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta, throughout her life. She balanced her career in fashion merchandising while raising her loving family. She founded the children's clothing and gift boutique, Mélange, in New Orleans. She was deeply involved in many volunteer activities including the Junior League of New Orleans and in Lafayette, Ladies Auxiliary, and Coast Episcopal School of Pass Christian. Blair touched many people throughout her life and will be deeply missed.
Friends, family, and relatives are invited to attend her memorial service at Trinity Episcopal Church in Pass Christian, MS this Friday, March 10th at 10:30 a.m. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 9:30 a.m. Burial will take place privately for the family. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Pass Christian Yacht Club from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m.
