Leonard E. Meador, Jr., 73, of Gulfport, MS and formerly of Nashville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 in Gulfport.
Mr. Meador formerly worked at Regent Dodge in Nashville and retired as the Service Director at Champion Chrysler in Gulfport. His hobbies included stock car racing, fishing and his dogs. He was a member of Gulf Gardens Baptist Church, Gulfport.
Mr. Meador was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Dorene Meador, and his son, Leonard LeWayne Meador. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Judy Davis Meador; three children, Chris Meador, Michael Meador (Jennifer) and Ashly Brazzell (Scott); eight grandchildren, Christopher Medina, Corey Meador, Cameron Buneta, Caitlyn Gonzalez, Eric Meador, Brianna Meador, Rylan Brazzell and Bryson Brazzell; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Nancy Webb; and three nephews, Joey, Walter and Terry Webb & their families.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m., Monday, October 9, 2017 at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS 39503. The Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gulf Gardens Baptist Church, 1415 38th Ave., Gulfport, MS 39501 or with the American Cancer Society-Patrick F. Taylor Hope Lodge, 2609 River Road, New Orleans, LA 70121.
