Lenna Faye Ladner Rouse, age 72, and a resident of Saucier, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012 due to complications after a courageous battle with carcinoid cancer.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Ladner; step-father, Simon Holland; mother, Nettie Holland; and her sister, Charlene Ladner.
Lenna Faye was a member of Saucier United Methodist Church and Palmer Creek Methodist Campground. She was a graduate of Perkinston High School in 1957 and retired from the Harrison County Schools after 18 years of dedicated service at Saucier Elementary.
Survivors include her children, Newitt Rouse, Ted (Memory) Rouse, Deanna (Keith) Cavalier and Christina Brown; a sister, Laverna (Fred) Gaughf; two brothers, Franklin Ladner and Archie (Jessie Mae) Holland; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank SAAD Hospice, especially Brooke, for their care and compassion.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m., Friday, July 27 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11213 Highway 49 North in Gulfport.
The Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 28 at Palmer Creek Methodist Campground. Burial will follow at Wedgeworth Cemetery. Tributes may be shared at www.riemannfamily.com.
