Lee Sperier

Lee Sperier, age 86, of Long Beach, passed away January 31, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elton Sperier; her father, Henry McQuirter; mother, Rosemary McQuirter; and 1 sister, Norma Jean Pritchard; a grandson, Jacob Morgan.
Survivors include her children, Donna (Jimmy) Jones, Phyllis Morgan, Lynn (Tim) Cross, Glinda (Cruise) Jones, and Laura (Robert) Rester; 1 aunt, Marilyn Joyner; 15 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Mrs. Sperier was a lifelong resident of the coast and was a former member of the choir at St. Paul Catholic Church and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Saturday, February 4, 2017, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 720 E Beach Blvd., Long Beach. Visitation will be from 9 - 10 am in the church. Interment will be in Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Thomas Catholic Church.
