Leaman O. Robinson, Sr., age 83 of Gulfport, passed away August 8, 2014 in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his parents Hubert A. Robinson, Sr. and Virginia Robinson; and his brother, Hubert ""Buck"" Robinson.
Leaman is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Manuella Robinson of Gulfport; his children, Leaman O. ""Robby"" (Debbie) Robinson of Biloxi, Yon Martin (Kris) Robinson of Fort Worth, TX, and Terri (James) Robinson Love of Biloxi; his sister-in-law, Emily Robinson of Gulfport; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren with another one due in October.
He was a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast. He served in the US Navy for 4 years, serving in the Korean Conflict. He retired after 22 years with Civil Service as Chief Financial Officer at Keesler AFB. After retirement, he and his wife, Manuella, traveled throughout North America, camping in 49 states, 6 Canadian provinces, and Mexico.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Coalville Cemetery, Woolmarket.
