L. C. Hunt, age 81, resident of Diamondhead, MS, formerly of Rose Pine, LA and Hugo, OK, passed away on Saturday, January 18, 2014, in Mississippi.
Mr. Hunt was born in Leesville, LA to Luther and Lorene Holt Hunt. He served in the U.S. Army and had many construction businesses over the years.
He was preceded in death by his son, L.H. ""Bubba"" Hunt; a daughter, Elizabeth Dawn Johnson; siblings, Malcolm Hunt, Frankie Scarborah, and Maudielene Marinel.
He is survived by his children, Laura Hunt Cornwell (Scott) of Diamondhead and Rebbeca Trujillo (Phillip) of NM; sister, Bobbie Davis of TX; and 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2014, at Castor Baptist Church Cemetery in Leesville, LA at 1:00 p.m.
