Lawrence Eugene "Larry" Schruff, age 75, of Lizana, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017.
Mr. Schruff was born in Gulfport to Louis and Shirley Brownlee Schruff. He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Lizana and will be most remembered for his love of the water and shrimping.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandson, Lance Necaise.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Muriel Lizana Schruff of Lizana; children, Norma Necaise (Don) of Perkinston, Julie Paige of Diamondhead, Beth Haberman (Alan) of Gulfport, and Larry Schruff (Evelyn) of Hazlehurst; siblings, McCall Schruff (Gaynelle) of Long Beach, Joan Gray (Bob) of PA; grandchildren, Ryan, Jared, Lauren, Matthew, Shelly, and Trey; great grandchildren, Brody, Harper, and Brooks.
A visitation for friends and family will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, January 13, 2017, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, until the funeral service begins at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Burial will follow at Wolf River Cemetery.
