Lawrence Edward Johnson died in Los Angeles, California on Saturday, October 19, 2013.
Lawrence (aka: L'il Lawrence and Coody Jr.), was born November 8, 1950, in Biloxi, MS, to George and Ola Mae Johnson. He was a graduate of M.F. Nichols High School and served with the U.S. Army in Germany. After military service, he returned to Biloxi, MS, and ultimately moved to California where he resided until his death.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
He is survived by sons, Lawrence and George Johnson and Honoree and Lawrence Kemp; brothers, George, Marshall (Laura), Robert (Sheila), and Wayne (Leona); sisters, Rosemary McGill, Anna and Crystal Johnson, and Bernice McMillon; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
There will be a graveside service at Biloxi National Cemetery, Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. The funeral procession will leave from RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, at 1:00 p.m.
