Lawny P. Ferrill

Lawny Ferrill, 83, passed away Friday, August 7, 2015 in Gulfport. He was a veteran to our country and always offered a smile wherever he went. With a gentle soul that went peacefully to meet the Lord, He will be sadly and greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Atty and Louella Ferrill; 3 brothers: Alvin, Hubert, and Ernest.
He is survived by his brother, Prentice ""P.A."" Ferrill of Gulfport; 5 nieces: Diann Hans, Sassy Miller, Cindy Ferrill, Patty McRaney and Brenda Boyles; 3 nephews: Prentice M. Ferrill, Prentice A. Ferrill, Jr. and Richard Ferrill; numerous great-nieces and nephews; by his coffee buddies at McDonald's and his beloved neighbor, Ms. Martha.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Online tributes can be made at www.riemannfamily.com
