Larry Earl Smith

Larry Earl Smith, age 80, of Lyman, passed away on April 19, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis L. Smith, Sr. and Stella Marie Beard Smith; a brother, Louis L. Smith, Jr; a sister, Rosa LeNelle Smith Christie; and a brother-in-law, John P. Christie, Sr.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Bunterng “Bonnie” Smith; his children, Kevin (Jenny) Smith, Jeannie (Shawn) Trochesset, Robert (Pamela) Brainard, and Julie (Brian) Foxwell; his grandchildren, Carlyle, Rhett, Savannah, Grant, carl John, Derek, Jordan, Austin, Samantha, and Wyatt; his great-grandchildren, Maria, Junior, Grayson, Kambree, and Oaklynn; nieces, Charmain Christie Rosales (Miguel A.), Gina Lynn Smith; nephew, Jeffery Smith; great nephews: Jason Christie (Aimee), Michael Christie (Kristi), and M. Angel Rosales (Branka).

Visitation will be on Monday, April 24, 2023, from 12:30 pm – 2 pm at First Baptist Church of Lyman, 14321 Old Hwy 49, Gulfport, MS 39523.  The funeral service will begin at 2 pm in the church.  Interment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
