In Loving Memory of Larry Daniel "Danny" Carter, Jr., age 49, of Waveland, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2017.
Danny lived for his music. He enjoyed playing music at the church services which he did for 19 years. He was a man of strong faith in The Lord and it could not be wavered. Although he met many obstacles in his life, he always had hope and could make you laugh in worst of times.
Mr. Carter was born in New Orleans to Gayle Fernandez and Larry D. Carter.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry D. Carter, Sr., and his grandparents.
He is survived by his wife, Shelley Carter, of Waveland; children, Larry Daniel Carter, III, Brennan (Alexandra) Carter, Michael Carter, and Adam Carter; grandchildren, Kenzie Carter, Finley Carter, and Grayson Carter; his mother, Gayle Brosemer (Dennis); his siblings, Donny (Amanda), Dana Carter (Gibson), Denny (McKenzie), Danielle (Garland) Daniels, Darren (Krissy), Donna (Richard) Allman, Dara (David) Warren, and Devin (Heidi) Carter, his nieces and nephews; Jesica, Jennifer, Jared, Jabrell, Dyllon, Kelsi, Drew, Layna, Dovovan, Mckenna, Ashley, Alexis, Aviana, Addlyn, Kyra, Keyarah, David Jr., Kaylen, Trinity, and Tegan.
You will be missed dearly by all of us. You are now free. Rest in peace.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2017, at Word of Faith Christian Fellowship, 103 Old Spanish Trail, Waveland, from 1 until 3 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the church sanctuary at 3 p.m.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery (Handcock County - North of Diamondhead - on Kapalama Drive).
