Laneeta Earline Simmons, age 63, of Helena, Arkansas, passed away on October 4, 2015.
She was preceded in death by parents, John Wesley King, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Blair, and a sister, Cynthia Karen Tucker.
Survivors include her husband, James E. Simmons, 1 sister, Kathryn King, 2 brothers, John Wesley King, Jr. and James Weldon King, several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Simmons worked in the hospitality industry for many years. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in North Biloxi and she enjoyed gardening, antiques, and was an avid animal lover.
A memorial service will be held at 6 pm on Saturday, October 24, 2015, at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, corner of Washington Ave. and LeMoyne Blvd., West Jackson County. A reception will be held in the funeral home community room from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm.
