Lance Egan Necaise, age 39, a native of Orange Grove, MS and a resident of New Orleans, LA, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Vida and Haven Lizana; his grandparents, Mabel and Eldon Necaise; and his uncle, Donald Necaise.
Lance is survived by his parents, Norma and Don Necaise; his brother, Jared Necaise; his grandparents, Muriel and Larry Schruff; his aunts and uncles, Julie Paige, Beth and Alan Haberman, Wanda and Mark Necaise, Jimmy Goodman, and Dolores Necaise; and many other cousins.
Lance graduated from Harrison Central High School and earned a degree in Journalism from the University of New Orleans.
Lance worked as a bartender at Fat Cats on Bourbon Street in New Orleans for many years. He loved the martial arts and travelling around the world. Lance loved his family and all his friends. Lance is of the Catholic faith.
Lance is blessed to not only have his family in Mississippi, but to also have a loving extended family and good friends in New Orleans. We will all miss his warm smile, his positive attitude, his kindness and his generosity. Lance will always be in the hearts, minds, and precious memories of everyone who knew him and loved him. Our faith in God allows us to believe that we will all be together again one day in heaven. Fly high with the angels our precious son, Lance, until we are all together again once more.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport with a visitation for family and friends beginning at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Wolf River Cemetery.
