Kody Ryan McKinley, age 19, a resident of Pass Christian, passed away on November 23, 2016.
Kody was a native of Valdez, AK and was a valued employee of Safeway Grocery where he worked his way up to a manager's position. More recently he was employed by Winn Dixie in Long Beach and was also dedicated to the Job Core where he was working to become a licensed electrician.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Don Smith and his grandmother, Connie.
He left behind his parents, Donna McKinley and Daniel McKinley; four siblings, Kasey McKinley of Reno, NV, Kevin McKinley of Valdez, AK, Kelly LoMonaco of Surprise, AZ, and Kristopher McKinley of Valdez, AK; grandparents, Mary and Don Ried of Pass Christian; and one niece, Aubri LoMonaco.
The family wishes to express great thanks and appreciation to his grandparents Don & Mary Reid for taking care of Kody and providing him with a home while he lived in Pass Christian.
A Celebration of Kody's life will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at 3:30 PM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Road, Pass Christian. The family will receive friends from 2:30-3:30 PM.
