Kenneth N. Taylor, 96, a resident of Daphne, AL, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017 in Biloxi, MS.
Mr. Taylor was born in Tupelo, MS and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a SBD Dauntless Tail Gunner (a naval scout plane and dive bomber), and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was an avid Atlanta Braves and New Orleans Saints fan, and retired from the Ingalls Shipyard in 1984.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Odom Taylor; and a daughter, Angel Bolton.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his children: Roxanne Daniels and husband John of Huntsville, AL, Paulette Wright and husband Mike of Mobile, AL, Dale Bolton of Saraland, AL, Rita Hamilton of Wynn AR, Tammy Minchew and husband Randy of Theodore, AL, Tiffany Henn and husband Charles of Orlando, FL, Kevin Taylor and wife Janine of Wilmington, NC, Tricia Ritchie of Daphne, AL and Bobby Jordan and wife Tammy of Grovehill, AL; and numerous much loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends are invited to visit from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL Home, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, MS 39531. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 25, 2017 at the funeral home, with interment with military honors to follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
