Kenneth Stickney

Kenneth John Stickney, a resident of Ocean Springs, MS formerly of Cranston, RI, Ft. Myers, FL and Hartland, ME passed away on July 8, 2022 at the age of 93 in Ocean Springs, MS.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chesley M Stickney and Viola Tripp Watson; his wife of 69 years, Helene M. Stickney; and his great-grandson, William Lawrence Lamey.

Kenneth is survived by his son, Kenneth J. Stickney Jr. (Jane); daughter, Margaret (Peggy) Farrar (John); two grandchildren, William L. Lamey (Kate), Beth A. Lamey (Jen); two sisters, Marlene Watson Lima, Joyce Stickney Butts.

Ken served in the navy for 7 years and worked for the U S Post office in Providence for over 30 years.  Ken and Helene moved to Ft. Myers FL after retirement and spent their Summers at their beloved camp in Hartland Maine.  Ken moved to Mississippi 5 years ago to be close to his daughter and grandchildren.

Interment will be at the Biloxi National Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Children’s of Alabama Foundation, 1600 7th Avenue South, Birmingham Alabama 35233 for their NICU.
