Kenneth Wayne Huffman, a beloved member of the Saucier, MS community, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at the Biloxi VA Medical Center. Born on August 28, 1949, in Harrisburg, Arkansas, Kenneth led a fulfilling life that touched the hearts of many.
Kenneth was known for his dedication to his work as a Truck Driver and in the construction industry. He was hardworking who always took pride in his craft., Kenneth proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps for nearly 2 years and was honorably discharged.
Beyond his professional and military accomplishments, Kenneth found joy in simple pleasures. He had a passion for music, particularly enjoying the sounds of Lynyrd Skynyrd. The outdoors called to him, and he cherished moments spent surrounded by nature.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father William Sales Huffman (1955), mother Eva Mae Spicer (2009), brother Bill "Bug" Huffman, Jr (2014), and sister Wanda "Sue" Huffman (2014).
He leaves behind a legacy of love and memories to be cherished by his surviving family and friends. This includes his daughters Jennifer Palomino (Ray) and LaTrischa Waller (Jeff); siblings Donna Kay Rodgers, Eddie Lee Huffman (Elaine), and Donald Phillip Spicer; grandchildren Tessa Massie, Kaitlyn Huffman, Jaston Woods, Chad Woods, Christiana Hudson, Braylon Waller, Bryson Chandler, Ainsley Chandler; great-grandson Dekland Ray Delano; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loved friends.
Friends are invited to join the family for visitation and services on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. Visitation will be held from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS. The Funeral Procession will depart at 1:45 p.m., going to the Biloxi National Cemetery where a Graveside Service will take place at 2:30 p.m. with military honors rendered by the U.S. Marine Corps. Kenneth's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
