Kenneth Guilbeaux, age 69, passed away April 24, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Marie Guilbeaux; nephew, Josh Logan; his fur baby, Britney Nicole “Nikki”; and stepson, Ernie Lizana.
Kenneth is survived by his daughters, Robin and Jenna Guilbeaux; grandchildren, Rilley Dabbs, Abigail Sorel, and Wade Schwers; his sister, Lisa Logan; Donald Logan and Derek Logan; his partner of 24 years, Charlotte Bell and her family; daughter, Paula Lizana; grandchildren, Amber Pate, Danielle Lizana, Logan Lizana, Kammy Lizana, and Kent Lizana, and great grandchildren, Caden, Jaelyn, Bentley, Daysen, Breez, Chandler, and Nash; his fur baby, “Lanaughty”; and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was a native of Church Point, LA and a current resident of Gulfport, MS. Kenneth graduated high school in 1971 and then served in the US Navy. Kenneth’s career consisted of driving his 18-wheeler, CB Handle “Speed Buggy”, being a tugboat captain, and lastly a crane operator. He was a crane operator all his life. Kenneth learned everything he knew from his father Lloyd Guilbeaux who was also a crane operator.
Kenneth enjoyed many hobbies which included building model airplanes, playing the drums in a local band and at church, music, dance, race cars (Dale Earnhardt, Sr. was his favorite), and he loved the local dirt track races off Menge.
He was always ready for a good time. To know him was to never forget him. He was an honest loyal friend, father, and companion. He will be missed by many.
A viewing will be held in Mississippi with Riemann Family Funeral Home at 274 Beauvoir Rd. Biloxi, MS on Thursday, April 28th from 5:00-8:00 PM. Followed by a service Friday, April 29th at 10 am.
We will also have services in Abbeville, LA at Vincent Funeral Home. The viewing will be held Sunday May the 1st at 9:00 am services at 2 pm.
