Kenneth "Ken" R. Edmunds

Kenneth "Ken" Robert Edmunds, age 91, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2026, with his loving daughter and son by his side. Born with a kind heart and strong work ethic, Ken lived a life filled with dedication to his family, his career, and the things he enjoyed most.

Ken was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Liz Edmunds; his mother, Agnes Edmunds Cohen; his sister, Weezie Dunne; and his brother, Vaughn Edmunds.

He is survived by his children, Kirk Edmunds (Cindy) of Birmingham, Alabama, and Stacey Krol (Chip) of Gulfport, Mississippi. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Casey Edmunds Davis (Caleb), Christopher Edmunds, Chase Krol, and Trevor Krol (Jenny), as well as his beloved great-grandchildren, Isla Grace Davis and Collin Reid Krol.

For 37 years, Ken worked for Honeywell/Rockwell/NASA from 1957 until his retirement in 1994. After retiring, he enjoyed spending two years working as a dealer at the Grand Casino, where he enjoyed meeting people and sharing stories.

Ken loved playing cribbage and shooting pool, and he especially enjoyed watching sports, with the New Orleans Saints holding a special place in his heart. He also treasured attending Shuckers baseball games with his daughter, creating memories that will forever be cherished by his family.

A graveside service will be held at Biloxi National Cemetery on Friday, June 5, 2026, at 2:30 p.m., with United States Navy honors to be rendered.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.
