Kenneth M. Beasley, age 70, of D'Iberville, passed away on August 25, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Dorothy Beasley; an infant brother, William Beasley.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Beasley; a son, Jeff Littlejohn (Alena); stepchildren, Derrick Miller (Judy), Amanda James (David), 2 beloved granddaughters, Audrey and Bonnie; 3 beloved step-grandsons, Blaine, Aaron, and Freddie; a step-granddaughter, Sara; his beloved sisters and brothers-in-law and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives.
He was a graduate of New Albany High School, received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Millsaps College, his Master of Education from Mississippi College, and he had completed many hours toward his Doctorate in Psychology and Counseling from the University of MS.
Mr. Beasley had lengthy career with the American Red Cross and served as the Director of the Blood Center in Louisville, KY. His proudest accomplishment was being a High School Guidance Counselor for over 17 years at D'Iberville High School.
He enjoyed acting in little theatre productions, traveling, and playing with his beloved puppy "Buster." Mr. Beasley enjoyed being the "voice" of Young Matrons.
A memorial service will be held at 12 pm on Monday, August 28, 2017, at the Biloxi First United Methodist Church, 14220 Shriners Blvd., Biloxi. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service.
The family would like to thank the many doctors and nurses for their compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Biloxi First United Methodist Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
