Kelvin "Joey" Joseph Ladner

Kelvin "Joey" Joseph Ladner, a dedicated Lead Linesman with Mississippi Power, passed away on May 24, 2025, in Gulfport, Mississippi. He was born on September 28, 1956, in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.

Joey had a passion for the outdoors, enjoying fishing and hunting in his free time. He was also a fervent NASCAR fan, often cheering for his favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt, Jr.

Joey is survived by his daughter, Amanda Knox, and his siblings, Kendall Ladner (Cindy), Kenny Ladner (Memory), and Janice Seagren (Wayne). He also leaves behind many nephews and nieces, including Kirt Arcana (Tammy), Alan Arcana, Joe Green, Zachary Green (Tonya), Kendall Ladner. Jr., (Tara) Kendrick Ladner (Alicia), Brian Seagren (Heather), Samantha Arcana, Kandice Manuel (Timothy), Melissa Huckabay (Donald), Phyllis Yap (Henry), Melinda Warner, and Trisha Palang.

Joey is preceded in death by his parents, Ollis and Gracie Ladner, and siblings Rea Lea Ladner Arcana, Meretta Babin, and Kermit Ladner. He will be missed by all who knew him.

As per his wishes, funeral services are private.
