Keith Sangwin

Rev. Allan Keith Sangwin, age 84, of Long Beach, passed away on January 26, 2017, in Covington, LA.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of 49 years, Barbara Ann Sangwin, his parents, Herbert and Sylvia Sangwin, and a brother, Dale Herbert Sangwin.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Thompson Sangwin, his children, Susan Brewer, Allan and Lynn Sangwin, and Cheryl Sangwin, a step-daughter, Dorris Elizabeth "Beth" and Brett Keenan, his grandchildren, Crystal Sangwin, Julie Burgess, Jarrod and Kellie Sangwin, and Christopher and Rebecca Mazur, great-grandchildren, Jordan Sangwin, Kallan Lierl, Tyler Sangwin, Kristen Nickel, Garrett Nickel, Charles Mazur, Zac Mazur, Gabriel Comstock, and Alexis Comstock, 1 great-great-grandchild, Abel Garrett, a sister, Jeanette Wilson, , step-grandchildren, Andrew "Drew" and Lucy Keenan and Laura Keenan, and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Sangwin graduated from Ozark Bible College, Joplin, MO and served as pastor for 40 years at Hiwasse Christian Church and California Christian Church in Clifty, AR. He enjoyed carpentry, cooking, and gardening. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Long Beach where he was active in the men's club and other church organizations and activities. He was a member of the Long Beach Garden Club, the Newcomers Club, and was the chaplain for the Long Beach Rotary Club.
Visitation will be on Sunday, January 29, 2017, from 1 - 2 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach. A funeral service will be at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel.
