Keith Pope

d. June 5, 2013

Keith Alfred Pope, age 57, of Saucier, passed away on June 5, 2013 in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Jeanne Gibson Pope.
He is survived by his best friend and wife, Lori Lynn Pope of Saucier; his loving step son, Erik Kerns; his favorite sister, Jan Pope of New York; the best brother a guy could have, Todd Pope and his wonderful wife, Barbara; and his loved and cherished nephews, Michael and Tyler, all of New York.
Keith was born and raised in Elmhurst, Queens, New York, one of three wonderful Pope children. He was an avid New York Yankees baseball fan and supporter. Keith loved scuba diving. He taught his wife and even proposed to her underwater on one of their many scuba trips. Keith's other great love was motorcycles, particularly his Harley Davidson. He bought his wife a motorcycle and they shared another great pastime, riding together. He loved living, adventure, and sharing it with people he cared about.
After moving to Mississippi, he entered the car business where he has worked for 13 years. He eventually became Fleet Manager at Turan Foley where he was a valued friend and staff member. Being in the car business, Keith has met, befriended, and helped thousands of people and he will surely be missed by all of them.
