Katie Agee Brown Webb passed away Tuesday afternoon, March 29, 2016, in the comfort of her home in Madison, MS.
Katie was born and raised in Shiloh, AL, and will return home Saturday, April 2, 2016, to be laid to rest with her family. Katie was a retired surgical nurse from Rush Foundation Hospital where she was employed for 40 years. As a humble and caring person Katie was loved by many. Some of Katie's hobbies and artistry included her love of birds and watching them gather at her front porch every morning, painting, and her needlework that was admired and loved by many... but, her greatest love was that of her family.
Katie is survived by her daughter, Linda Kay Webb of Madison, MS; granddaughter, Heather Donnelly Riemann (David Chadwick Riemann); great grandchildren, Sadie Noble Riemann, John David Riemann, and Emma Allen Riemann, all of Gulfport, MS; sisters, Lillian Allen Brown Torrey (Randy Torrey) of Pointe Clear, AL, and Emma Margaret Brown Baty of Demopolis, AL; nieces and nephews, Gordon Brown, Jr. of Snead, AL, Anne Brown Broadfoot of Montgomery, AL, June C. Brown Adams of Birmingham, AL, Dr. Barbara Brown Keegan of Baton Rouge, LA, Van M. Baty, Jr. of Demopolis, AL, Michael Webb of Cuba, AL, Teresa Webb of Cuba, AL; seven great nieces and nephews and ten great-great nieces and nephews.
Katie is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Earl Webb; her grandson, Matthew Stinson Loper; parents, George C. Brown and Lillian Norwood Brown; brothers, George C. Brown, Jr., Hunter Norwood Brown, Gordon McGill Brown, and Berry Norphlet Brown.
A private family service will be held at Laurel Presbyterian Cemetery, Shiloh, AL, on Saturday April 2, 2016. Pallbearers will be Chad Riemann, Van Baty, Jr., Ford Torrey, Michael Webb, and Gordon Brown, Jr. (Honorary).
