Kathy Simpson, age 60, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016.
""Yesterday, as the last of the sunlight faded from the sky, in the art that only God can create, at exactly 7:49 p.m. I joined the Army of God. While on this plain with you, I lived my life to the best of my ability. I loved as Jesus led me to love, and offered a smile and hug to very person in need. My time with you all is done, and it is time for me to take wing, but know that I loved you, and love you still. Live each day as if it were your last, and remember fondly this barefoot preacher, but take comfort in the knowledge that I am where I wanted to be, with my Lord in Heaven. I wait for you all to join me. Goodbye.""
Kathy is survived by her husband, Ronald G. Simpson; her children, Annette Frisby, Jacqueline Peralta, Nathan Robert Allen, III, Samantha Allen, Katrina Simpson, and numerous adopted children; and the legacy of her grandchildren who will carry her history into tomorrow. May her legacy of love continue to grow.
A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 PM on Sunday, August 28, 2016, at Soldiers For The Cross, 6291 Ball Park Rd., Pass Christian.
RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Rd., Pass Christian, served the family.
