Kathy Elaine Buckingham

Kathy Elaine Buckingham, 65, passed away on June 7, 2024, in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. A lifelong coast resident, she was born in Biloxi to Charles and Margaret Tanner Buckingham. Kathy graduated from St. Martin High School in 1976 and later attended Chris’s Beauty School. Throughout her life, she worked in communications, the casino industry, and food service. She cherished her roles as a mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, and enjoyed gardening, fishing and drinking coffee.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Buckingham and Margaret Tanner Buckingham and two sisters, Debra Jean Buckingham, Janice Buckingham Pannell. 

She is survived by her two children, Charles Buckingham of Wilburton, OK, Deanna Tootle (Charles) of Ocean Springs; grandchildren, Shelby Jean Buckingham, Andrew Buckingham, Charles Buckingham, Ava Tootle, Harley Tootle; one sister, Lori Holden; and her beloved partner William “Bill” McRaney. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 5-6 PM at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd. West Jackson County.
