Kathleen Whisenant, age 60 of Gulfport, passed away on December 4, 2013, in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Eunice Bunch; her aunt, Mary Sumrall; and her brother, Gary Bunch.
She is survived by her husband, William Whisenant of Gulfport; her children, Marie Riley, Donald Whisenant, Dustin Whisenant, Michelle Whisenant, Crystal Wilson, Veronica Whisenant, and Christopher Whisenant, all of Gulfport; her siblings, Dale Bunch, Diane Beal, Patricia Ann Sumrall, and John Bunch; and her 17 grandchildren.
Kathleen was of the Baptist faith, and was a loving and outgoing person. She loved to read and spend time with her grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 9, 2013 at 1:00 PM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport, with a visitation for family and friends from 11:00 AM until the service. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
