She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Gerald Henry “Big Boy” Ladner; her parents, Frank and Claudia Klein; her two children, Gerald Ladner, Jr. and Kevin Ladner; and her siblings, Frank Klein, JR., Lee Klein, Sr., Sue Sellier and John Klein, Sr.

She grew up in Clermont Harbor and graduated from St. Joseph Academy. She found joy in the simple beauty of life planting flowers, tending her garden, listening to wind chimes, and watching hummingbirds and cardinals. Her faith in Jesus was a guiding light throughout her life.
She lovingly raised her two children in Clermont Harbor before later moving to Necaise Crossing, where she and Mr. Gerald owned and operated a local gas station. She cherished time spent with her family, especially on trips to the mountains of Tennessee and North Carolina.
In her retirement, she and Mr. Gerald traveled to Georgia, where he built hotels. She had a deep love for animals and cared for many cats and dogs over the years, holding a special place in her heart for her beloved dog, Sassy.
