Kathleen Carboni

Kathleen O'Rourke Carboni, age 71, of Pass Christian, passed away November 28, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Justin Henry and Rita Rhea Lay O'Rourke; and her brother, Justin Henry O'Rourke, Jr.
Kathleen is survived by her husband of 49 years, Shava Joseph Carboni, Jr.; her children, Stephen Joseph Carboni (Brandie Lynn Carboni) and David Henry Carboni (Britten Knickerbocker Carboni); 4 grandchildren, Sarah Ann Carboni, Nicholas Joseph Carboni, Anna Lynn Carboni, and Louise Marie Carboni.
Kathleen was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a graduate of Warren Easton High School. She was a loving mother and homemaker and a parishioner of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church. She was also an aerobics instructor at Jo Ellen Smith Fitness Center and Woldenberg Village in New Orleans. Kathleen sat on the Board of Directors for Boys and Girls Club of Pass Christian, Pass Christian Yacht Club Ladies Auxiliary and was a member of the Pass Christian Yacht Club and the Pass Christian Historical Society. She was also Co-President of Brother Martin High School Parent's Association from 1990-1992.
Kathy was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.  Her welcoming, kind and generous outreach to others will be sadly missed.
The family would like to express our gratitude to the many friends and family who have shown their love and support.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church, 228 S. Beach Blvd., Bay St. Louis, MS., with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m.
