Katherine Husley, age 93, went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 16, 2026. She will be remembered for the love she shared so freely with her family and for her faith that remained an important part of her life. A devoted homemaker, Katherine found her greatest happiness in the simple things: being surrounded by family, caring for those she loved, and spending time with her church family.

Her faith was especially meaningful to her, and she enjoyed being involved with the Ladies Fellowship Circle, choir, Mike Scarborough Sunday School class, and many other church activities.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Husley; her parents, Edward Redmond and Onealurne Redmond; and her brothers, Carney Redmond, Burt Redmond, and Gene Redmond.

Katherine leaves behind a loving family who will carry her memory in their hearts, including her daughter, Margaret King; her son, Danny Husley (Sharon); her granddaughter, Stephanie King; and her great-granddaughter, Evelyn. She will also be lovingly remembered by many extended family members, dear friends, and all those whose lives she touched throughout the years.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Cedar Lake Global Methodist Church, 12332 Cedar Lake Road, Biloxi, MS 39532. The funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m., with interment to follow at Cedar Lake Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cedar Lake Global Methodist Church in Katherine’s memory.
