Kate Elizabeth Kilpatrick

Kate Elizabeth Allen Noble Kilpatrick, born February 25, 1938, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Thursday, February 12, 2026. Kate lived life in motion — she loved an adventure, rarely sat still, and carried a light-hearted spirit that made everyone around her feel welcome. Whether gathered around a table playing Wahoo or Bingo, dropping cards in the mail to brighten someone’s day, or heading out on her next outing, she made ordinary days feel like occasions with her bright smile and left a lifelong imprint on all who knew her. She especially cherished her family church, Antioch Church, where she was raised and where faith and family remained close to her heart throughout her life.

Kate was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth held generations together. She was lovingly known by many names — Aunt Kate, “Big Spender”, Sugar, Grandmother, MawMaw and Great Grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Dianne (David) Borzik and Wally (Susan) Noble; and stepchildren, Keith (Lisa) Kilpatrick, Holly Dove Davignon, and Suzette Kilpatrick Robinson.

Her grandchildren include Michelle (Kraig) Goreth, Leanne (Todd) Fulton, David Michael Borzik (Tyler Firth), Nick (April) Phelps, Josh Correll, Courtney (Ethan) Randol, Justin (Christi) Dove, Kayla Robinson, Dylan Robinson, Todd Robinson, Lindsey (Mike) Harding, and Kristina (Justin) Pratt.

She was blessed with great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Goreth, Roman Goreth, Roger Paul Goreth, William Fulton, Emma Fulton, Matthew Fulton, Rayleigh Phelps, Trigger Phelps, Canaan Phelps, Braylinn Dobson, Braydon Dobson, Bentley Dobson, Tucker Pratt, Emery Pratt, Connor Harding, Marley Robinson, Korbyn Robinson, and Mila Robinson.

Kate is also survived by her brother, Freddie Allen; her dear and faithful friend, Ken Platt, Sr.; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Allen and Lillian Lassabe Allen; her husband, Larry Kilpatrick; her brothers, William “Buddy” Allen and Nathan Allen; and her sisters, Doris Dwyer, Susie Neathery, Nona Lee Allen, Mary Cockrell, Myra Morris, Emily Smith, and Agnes Durel.
