Karon Marie Swords

Karon Marie ""Goldie"" Swords, age 71, of Ocean Springs, passed away on July 10, 2015, in Ocean Springs.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Dennis Swords of Ocean Springs; her children, Kiem (Doug) Powers of Ocean Springs, Kevin Swords of Virginia, Kris (Heather) Swords of Illinois, Kelly Swords of Ocean Springs, Tony (Angie) Sly of Iowa, and Todd Sly of Arizona; her siblings, Robert (Leah) Turk, Roger (Lavonne) Turk, and Victoria (Wilbur) Vogler, all of Wisconsin; 10 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was a native of Wisconsin and spent many years in Iowa. She also lived in Illinois for 16 years prior to moving to Ocean Springs in 2006. She never met a stranger and had many friends across the country.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, corner of Lemoyne Blvd and Washington Ave, Ocean Springs. A procession will leave the funeral home at 11:45 AM for a graveside service at 12:30 PM at Biloxi National Cemetery.
