Karl Wade Young

Karl Wade Young, age 62, a resident of Gautier, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2016. Mr. Young was born in Fresno, CA to Herbert and Yvonne Alquist Young. He spent most of his time growing up in Georgia. Karl was a truck driver by trade and an avid mechanic. He enjoyed watching Nascar races, Duck Dynasty, and Alaskan Bush People. Karl was a privileged member of Graceland Baptist Church in Vancleave and loved his family and friends with his whole heart. Above all, he loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ his Redeemer. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Yvonne Alquist Young and his grandson, Blair Chastain.
He leaves behind his wife of 33 years, Jeannie Lancaster Young; three children, Johnathan Chastain of Thomasville, GA, Melissa Dalton (Jay) of Coolidge, GA, Jennifer Little of Gautier, MS; 8 grandchildren, James Dalton III, Amber Chastain, Stephanie Dalton, Brandon Dalton, Codi Chastain, Clay Chastain, Jessica Little, Blair Chastain, Austin Payne, Brianna Hamm, Savannah Tootle; 8 great-grandchildren, Amberly Mitchell, Prestyn Dalton, James Dalton IV, Jaxon Dalton, Madeline Payne, Kayden Thompson, Cannon Chastain, Connor Chastain; two brothers, Keith Young of Lee County, Georgia, Kenneth Young (Lesia) of Augusta, GA; 7 sisters, Keitha Stubbs of Lee County, GA, Karla Vanwinkle (Dale) of Savannah, GA, Kristine Morey of Savannah, GA, Katherine Godbee (Joe) of Albany, GA, Karen Timberman of Albany, GA. Kim Cox (Johnny) of Albany, GA, Katrina Whittenburger of Augusta, GA; and a host of loving nephews, nieces, and cousins.
